Copper Care
✅ How to Store Water in Copper Vessels:
Fill your copper bottle or jug with drinking water and store it for 6–8 hours, preferably overnight.
Use this water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach for best Ayurvedic benefits.
Do not store acidic or citrus liquids (like lemon water) in copper—acid reacts with copper and can be harmful.
🧼 How to Clean Copper:
To maintain shine and effectiveness:
Weekly Natural Clean:
Mix lemon juice or vinegar with salt, apply with a soft cloth or rub gently with a half lemon. Rinse thoroughly with water.
Alternative Method:
Use baking soda and lemon or a mild dish soap with a soft sponge.
Avoid:
Harsh detergents, metal scrubbers, or dishwashers—these can damage the copper surface.
⚠️ Important Tips:
Over time, copper naturally tarnishes (forms a dark layer). This is normal and can be cleaned.
Always dry the bottle completely after washing to avoid water spots or greenish oxidation.
Do not store water for more than 12 hours to avoid metallic taste.
